Такие студенты, что нашим мастерам пора ехать огурцы сажать. Основные идеи, которые обсуждались:
- communicating energy v. control
- crescendo is not accelerando
- too much information to the orchestra is bad, 2 instruction in a time while explaining and many movements gives too much information
- accentuating the bar makes a distraction if monotonous playing
- this wake up those who do not play and they stay alerted
- direction is also helping the audience (!)
- do not jump on the podium (hello Theodor)
- accelerando is made just with 1 arm, not with 2
- listening the orchestra and then directing = driving the car (Gatti's usual reference)
