...Gramsci / Marcuse Call for Social Action...

Rather othodox and romantic but enliveling account of the revolution theory in morden world.
Lauren Langman, From Great Refusals to Wars of Position: Marcuse, Gramsci, and Social Mobilization
In particular interesting -
call for "cultural rebellion" "mediated through the "war of position" in which counterhegemonic discourses would overcome cultural barriers and the "normality" of social existng arrangements in order to achieve social transformation".  In such paradigm with regard to the IT - we may provide education which is more important than production, process over oeuvre. But education other than capitalist education which serves the ideological support (social ladder) to sustain existing social structure. Creating counter-movement seems important - collective, communal in nature.
Suggest paternal psychoanlytic structure (following Adorno's account) for the persistence of existing relations of dominance. And this is not rational. Thus the action should be rational - and consciously anti-paternal, anti-traditional, novelty not as a quality but as an ideology. And not-cconsumability.
The expertise is the main tool of the power (its commercialisation is thus logical). It seems that critic should stay critic and stop to be expert because this is market (Golden Mask) that invented expert - for its purpose, not for the profession. Therefore, emancipation (from institutions) is required - to become the profession.  Name should change - to "critic" may be.
Suggest "organic intellectual" category.
